 What to Expect: Each class begins with composition and thumbnail sketches, building layer by layer until your masterpiece comes to life. And with extended class times, you’ll have the space to fully develop your painting without the rush - ensuring each stroke counts!
Here’s what Lionel has in store for this creative journey:
  • October 31: Master the "value of values" with a sophisticated monochromatic painting that enhances your understanding of light and shadow. These stunning pieces look great in any setting! 
  • November 14: Dive into a full-color painting on pastel paper, where the unique sandpaper-like texture creates bold, beautiful effects. You’ll love how easily colors lift and flow on this medium! 
  • December 12: Discover the art of depth and dimension with a traditional landscape, learning key techniques like aerial perspective and reflections in water—perfect for taking your landscapes to the next level! 
  • December 19: Wrap up the year with the crowd-favorite ink and wash class. The blend of ink and watercolor always results in fabulous, eye-catching artwork!
