In this class you will learn the composition principles you need to create an effective painting, as well as the elements of a typical landscape. This includes sky, mountains, and textures of wood and stone, water, snow and rock.

On the first day, Cathy and Kathy will discuss the composition of various landscapes. Then registrants will practice each of the above components of landscapes. By the end of day one, you will feel confident in these elements and ready to transfer your drawing to paper. On day two, registrants will use the skills learned on the first day to begin a beautiful 9'"x12" landscape painting.
