Janet Rogers, AWS, TWSA, FWS is a nationally recognized watercolorist with over 40 years of professional experience and Signature Member status in the American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society, and Florida Watercolor Society, among others.

 

Celebrated for her sensitive, expressive depictions of floral subjects, portraits, and figures, Janet’s paintings are spontaneous and emotionally resonant. Her work has received numerous awards and is exhibited throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.

As an instructor, Janet is praised for her generous and insightful teaching style. She encourages a loose, intuitive approach to watercolor—helping students “dance” with the fluid medium to discover fresh color and composition through demonstrations, individualized feedback, and supportive exercises.
