Capturing the Light
Lynn Ferris | Watercolor | November 16 and 17, 2026
Light and shadow shouldn't be afterthoughts in our paintings. Skillful use of light can transform a painting from ordinary to extraordinary, creating drama, mood, and a strong sense of place.
In this engaging three-day workshop, Lynn Ferris will show students how to use light to strengthen compositions, create compelling focal points, and bring greater impact and confidence to their watercolor paintings. Through demonstrations, hands-on painting, and individual instruction, students will learn practical techniques that can be applied to any subject matter.
