Class Description:

Join us for a festive and creative workshop where Zentangle artist Trish O'Leary will guide you in crafting a unique, holiday-themed Zentangle pillow box. This hands-on session combines the art of Zentangle—a relaxing, meditative drawing technique—with the joy of gift-giving, resulting in a beautifully decorated box perfect for holding small treasures or as an elegant holiday ornament.

Ideal for all skill levels, Trish will walk you through various Zentangle patterns and techniques, helping you design your own custom creation. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created three stunning pillow boxes that reflects your artistic style, complete with holiday flair.
The instructor will supply: 
  • 6 Zendala tiles
  • Scrap papers for creating the template and practicing the zentangle patterns
  • Sakura Metallic Gold gel pen
  • Sakura Micron10 White gel pen

Students' supply list:
  • Scissors
  • Embossing/Stylus tool (to create the folds)
  • Pencil
  • Tortillion or blending stump
  • Pens: 
    • Black Sakura micron 01 (or similar pen)
    • Colored Sakura Metallic pens (or similar style)
    • Colored Sakura Gel pens (or similar style)
Note on pens:
We will be creating 3 gift boxes for the holidays, or birthdays or anniversary or anything!  I’m thinking reds/greens for Christmas, silver/gold for New Year.
The metallic pens and gel pens work beautifully on these boxes.
