Class Description:

In this workshop we will focus on a variety of wet-into-wet techniques utilizing a floral and bird references.   Students are free to use their own photo reference if preferred.  If you are new to wet-into–wet painting, choose simple floral shapes (large simple petals) like tulips, poppies, magnolias etc.  We will be practicing large juicy abstract washes that we will develop with direct and negative painting techniques, eventually creating representational images.  All watercolor skill levels are welcome.
