Class Description:

This workshop is intended for all levels of artists, beginners through accomplished artists, and is designed for learning easy and efficient techniques that will improve your artistic skills. We planned this workshop for your enjoyment as well as for instructional value. All participants will receive individual instruction throughout the workshop. All participants will also receive a photo of the subject to be painted, plus a sketch on 140# cold pressed watercolor paper of the subject ready to be painted.

Morning Session - 9:00 am to 12:00 noon: The workshop begins with a short demonstration by instructor Gene Rizzo showing several very helpful painting techniques that can be used for painting this subject. After the techniques demo, participants will begin their individual paintings while the instructor visits with each participant for individual instruction

Lunch – 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm

Afternoon Session - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm: The afternoon workshop session begins with a short question & answer period. Participants will then continue with their individual paintings while the instructor visits with each participant for individual instruction. 

Discussion - 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm: This time is for any of the participants to request a critique from Gene.
