Although Mark prefers no substitutes for the Caran d'Ache Supracolor Water-Soluble Pencils listed on his supply list, registrants can use another pencil if they must, but they have to have their conversion colors selected in time for class and ready for each step. Mark will NOT have that info available for them during class. There are FREE conversion charts from Mark's website.
