Lynn's Bio

Lynn Ferris is a highly esteemed American watercolor artist, recognized as a signature member of prestigious organizations including the American Watercolor Society (AWS), National Watercolor Society (NWS), Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA), and Florida Watercolor Society.  Her vibrant work has been featured in Watercolor magazine, The Art of Watercolour, and the renowned Splash series by North Light.

 Lynn's paintings have won multiple “Best of Show” awards at the Florida Watercolor Society and Tallahassee Watercolor Society, and her portfolio is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach 

As an educator, Lynn is celebrated for her signature workshop, “Capturing the Light.” In this class, she guides students in harnessing light and shadow to elevate their compositions and add dramatic emphasis to their work.  A sought-after instructor, she teaches sold-out workshops across the U.S. and internationally and serves as a judge for watercolor exhibitions. Her hands-on approach includes live demonstrations, rich reference materials, and personalized coaching, making her sessions both inspiring and practical
