Janet's bio:

Janet Rogers, AWS, TWSA, FWS is a nationally recognized watercolorist with over 40 years of professional experience and Signature Member status in the American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society, and Florida Watercolor Society, among others. Celebrated for her sensitive, expressive depictions of floral subjects, portraits, and figures, Janet’s paintings are both spontaneous and emotionally resonant. She has received numerous awards and is featured in exhibitions throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe 
As an instructor, Janet is praised for her generous and insightful teaching style. In classes, she encourages a loose, intuitive approach to watercolor—helping students “dance” with the fluid medium to discover fresh color and composition. Her workshops include demonstrations, individualized feedback, and exercises in both florals and figurative painting, offering a deeply supportive environment for artists at all levels.
