The ruled A5 notebook comes with a pen! Korinne will guide you on how to control alcohol ink flow to create delicate flower petals, layer colors to achieve depth and dimension in your painting and blend background colors for a natural, meadow effect as you paint both the front and back cover. We’ll begin by exploring the “nozzle painting” method using ink directly from the bottle to craft a dynamic, swirling underwater scene full of movement and color. Next, you will use lifting techniques to remove inks and then use paint brushes to add detail and personality to your seahorse, learning techniques for texture, layering, and expressive line work.
