Fresh flowers will serve as the inspiration for this two-day workshop with nationally recognized watercolor artist Janet Rogers. Through demonstrations, painting exercises, and individualized instruction, students will explore a more spontaneous and expressive approach to painting flowers in watercolor.
Known for her loose, fluid style and joyful use of color, Janet encourages students to move beyond simply copying what they see and instead capture the feeling, rhythm, and beauty of their floral subjects. Students will gain confidence in working more freely while developing paintings that are lively, fresh, and uniquely their own.

Janet Rogers, AWS, is an internationally recognized watercolor artist and instructor whose expressive paintings of flowers and people have earned numerous awards and signature memberships in the American Watercolor Society, Florida Watercolor Society, and South Carolina Watercolor Society among other organizations.
Known for her expressive watercolor paintings of people and flowers, Janet's work has earned many awards and is recognized for its spontaneity, freshness, and emotional impact. She has taught workshops throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, sharing her passion for the fluid and unexpected nature of watercolor with thousands of students.
