Class Description:

Previous reversal colored pencil classes used white pencils on black backgrounds to achieve the “eye popping” power of contrast. This is where most beginning reversal colored pencil students should start when using black paper.

This class is designed for a logical progression allowing students to gradually become adept at using reversal techniques to create spectacular results.

To further enhance the reversal techniques, we now are adding a limited color palette to achieve a more finished “painterly look” to the artwork.  This variation (technique) will be another dynamic and exciting addition to your “toolbox”. Please note that lessons and subject matter will be tailored to the student’s skill set. Indicate your skill level when you register for the class.

These beautiful examples illustrate a variety of possible subject matter.

To  pre-register, e-mail Frank at [email protected] with your intention to register.    You can remit the fee of $115 for the seven weeks class to Frank Zampardi, 1630 Gibbes Way, The Villages FL 32162. Upon receipt of your registration fee, you will receive the materials list.

Student Testimonials:

"Frank has helped me to become a better artist.  Before taking Frank's classes I was timid in my approach to art and he taught me to see, be critical and zero in on basic drawing skills."

"For several years I have been an art student of Frank.  Frank has developed a keen eye for detail, instinctively addressing what is right and what can be improved in a student's artwork.  His critiques are articulate, and he is always striving to help artist grow and will go the extra mile to help them."

"I have taken several of Frank's classes, and have learned and gathered a tremendous amount of information from him.  He pushes and challenges you to be your best, and in his words, 'become a risk taker'."
