If you need a clean, brightly lit space for your group meeting or multi-day retreat, look no further than Village Art Center, conveniently nestled between five area retirement communities in central Florida. Only a short drive from shopping, dining, entertainment and lodging, Village Art Center has become a retreat for artists who fly in from all over the country to take our workshops.
We typically use our space for watercolor, acrylic and multi-media classes and workshops, but it is perfect for any group that needs a large space. Our 1,500 foot space is outfitted with five foot tables and comfortable chairs, along with a state of the art camera and monitor system that lets the entire room have a front row seat to what the instructor is demonstrating. Our room is perfect for colored pencil groups, quilting groups, calligraphy groups, etc. Multi-day workshops or retreats are perfectly suited to the space, as attendees can leave their equipment in the room overnight, ready to get started right away the next day. We are also a great option for all-day business group or staff meetings, business retreats, family gatherings, birthday parties, classes on camera equipment, phones, laptops or software programs, and if we remove all the tables and chairs the room can be used for dance classes, yoga, cocktail parties, etc. With a small kitchenette for heating up lunch or setting up snacks, two bathrooms that are handicap accessible, and plenty of on-site parking, Village Art Center provides everything you need to make your next meeting or multi-day retreat successful.
