Important Covid-19 Information
Dear Artists, Students and Friends of Village Art Center,
We are happy to have reopened the Village Art Center for classes and workshops; however, as much as we are ready to see you all again, our first priority is to keep everyone as healthy and safe as possible.
We are rescheduling postponed classes and adding new ones. While we hope every event scheduled will go forward as advertised, please know those dates could change pretty fast depending on the advice of health authorities. If a class needs to be postponed or cancelled, we will notify the attendees as soon and as quickly as we can.
We don't anticipate needing to reschedule a class, but if we need to reschedule, we can apply your payment to the rescheduled date, a different class, or we will offer you a full refund. This way you can book now without concern.
As we go into the flu season, we want to reiterate our guidelines for attending a class or workshop at Village Art Center:
If you are scheduled to attend an event at Village Art Center, you must wear a mask while inside Village Art Center. If you do not wear a mask you will not be allowed to stay in the room, and you will not receive a refund. Attendees MUST wear a face mask. Attendees can wear a face shield in addition to the face mask if they so desire. While we are allowing the instructors to wear face shields while they are behind the Mylar barrier at the front of the room, we are asking them to put on a face mask when they are walking around the room with the class attendees.
If you've been traveling within the last two weeks, are feeling unwell, running a temperature, have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19, you should not attend a class at Village Art Center.
We are arranging the tables as far apart as is viable with seating of only one person per table; however, we do ask that you also be aware of your surroundings and try to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
We encourage you to bring your own beverages and snacks as we will not be providing those for the time being.
After each class we will clean and sanitize all table and high touch surfaces in preparation for the next event.
We appreciate your continued patronage.
Kindest regards,
Bev Hennessy and Wanda Boyd
