Class Description:

Join Korinne Carpino and learn about alcohol ink. Korinne is an alcohol ink artist, contributor and instructor with the globally known Alcohol Ink Art Society. In this 3 hour workshop you can explore ornament painting with alcohol inks and mixatives. You will learn to create pastel colored inks with different amounts of mixative and solution to create values and textures in the inks, along with how to combine colors, layer inks, use mark making, and more. Choose your own ink colors. Create a flat, acrylic ornament, pastel round ornament with mark making, and a white landscape ornament -- all great for gift giving.

This class is suitable for beginner level through intermediate, Korinne will provide all supplies needed to create three ornaments including ornaments, inks, paint palette, brushes, solution and disposable gloves.

As a bonus you will take home your ink palette, brushes and solution to be able to continue to explore. Students will want to bring an apron, smock, etc. to protect clothing as ink stains. If you would like to bring paint pens to adorn your ornaments, feel free to do so.

Students should bring a container and cushioning to safely transport their glass ornaments home.
