After the death of my first husband I would visit my sister every year in Arizona. I would usually take art workshops while visiting her. On one of the visits I was lucky enough to take a class from “Navaho Joe” and learn wire wrapping from this talented American Indian who would only take two students at a time. In this class you will be learning how wire wrap the Navaho way as I will pass on this art of wire wrapping. During this workshop you will be making two pendants similar to the ones pictured. When making the first pendant, I will guide you step by step. With the second pendant, you will make it with my guidance. I will supply all of the materials and all of the tools for the projects. |
The supplies will include:
Tools (sorry you will not keep these) A glass cabichan made by Annie Wire Beads A PDF instruction sheet to take home as a reference Click for Annie Dotzauer's Bio |

If you've bought Tombow, Copic or Sakura brush pens and aren't quite sure what to do with them, this is the workshop for you! Sue Primeau shows you how to create gorgeous, vibrant paintings using water-soluble brush pens. The flexible brush tip allows you to apply a painterly touch to your artwork. Fine, medium, or bold strokes are easy to achieve, simply by varying the pressure on the brush nib. Use the Blender pen to create seamless washes and color gradations. Or you can opt for paintbrushes dipped in water to blend and create gradients. Bring your own set of brush pen markers and an aqua pen or a watercolor brush and a water bucket. Sue will also have brush sets available for $14.00 a set -- a great bargain at this price! The image drawn on watercolor paper will be provided for each attendee. |
