Workshop Description:
This is a fantastic deal - you are getting TWO workshops in ONE day from Kevin Tobin, Certified Golden Products Artist!
"Seductive Surfaces for Painting & Collage" covers twelve to eighteen different surface techniques included micaceous iron oxide, light molding paste, molding paste, pumice gel, soft gel gloss, extra heavy gel matte, faux encaustic and many more.
"You Can't Really Swing if You Ain't Got That Bling!" will have you oohing and aahing at the amazing results you can get with iridescents, interferences, micaceous iron oxide, and lots of color. This workshop covers all the techniques for making collage papers along with interesting effects for under-painting and a few surprises!
These workshops are suitable for all skill levels and no prior artistic ability is required. They are taught in a non-threatening atmosphere, so absolute beginners will be very comfortable, while more experienced artists will find many tricks, techniques and materials that can be incorporated immediately into their work. Golden Goodies Drawings throughout the day are included!
All Golden paints, gels and mediums are provided along with all the necessary substrates.
Artists should plan on bringing a small brush or two, a palette knife, scissors, paper towels, small water container and preferred drawing materials (no drawing skills required).
