Class Description:

No flower can lift someone’s spirits quite like sunflowers. They are bright and cheery, and as warm and inviting as the sweet summer sun. Artists throughout history loved the sunflower’s unique splendor—those of the Impressionist era were especially fixated on the flower. 

For anyone looking to paint a loose interpretation of a sunflower, this is the class for you! I will have the artists working on several paintings at a time to keep them from falling in love too soon. With a few techniques, you will achieve an abstracted type of sunflower. It’s all fun -- join me and let the paint fly!
