Class Description:
Do you want to use bolder colors that make your paintings pop? Would you like your artwork to have a looser, less controlled feel? In Jane’s workshop, she’ll show you why acrylic is the perfect solution. Without forgoing the important building blocks of good design, you’ll be encouraged to experiment and find success outside your comfort zone. You’ll learn how to “paint with less restraint” while bringing energy and artistic spirit to your work. In her casual and charismatic way, she’ll challenge you to complete up to two paintings each day as you discover the freedom of acrylics. Through daily demos Jane will show you her free-form technique and style, but she’ll always encourage you to develop your own freedom and artistic viewpoint.
