Workshop Description:
This will be a three-day workshop on painting acrylic abstracts on watercolor paper. There will be a multitude of watercolor techniques shown in this workshop including designing a strong composition, layering colors, building rich dark values for drama, sgraffito, creating expressive textures for movement, creative brush techniques, and much more.
Students will learn how to find exciting designs for an abstract painting. You will also learn a wide variety of styles of painting abstract that include the following:
This workshop delves into BOTH Abstract Expressionism and Representational Abstract.
