Vladislav Yeliseyev
www.YeliseyevFineArt.com October 22-23-24 9:00 am to 4:00 pm "Painting the Light in Watercolor" All levels welcome Fee $326 payable to Beverly Hennessy Please use the registration form to mail in payment. |
Class Description:
What we see on the watercolor or canvas surface is only a tip of the iceberg. It is usually not much being said about the preliminary study which pros are using before they touch the watercolor paper or canvas. Vlad will show the areas to address to be sure the final painting will be a success. Among others, rules of composition such as dynamics, movement, focal points etc. will be also addressed in depth. We know how professional performing artists learn to "work" the microphone? Same things we need to learn how to work with watercolor paper and brushes at hand to achieve desired effects of light. Vlad will demonstrate timeless traditional watercolor application methods to achieve results which are based on the history of fine art development and learn what it takes to stand out the work without resorting to decorative and illustrative tricks, but using depth of light distribution on the surfaces instead. |
