The workshop with Anne Abgott will be two days, although registrants can take only one day if they choose. Anne will do a different image each day. Each day will involve demos with Anne, showing you how to work through the painting from saving the white paper to the direction of light to the background. For each day, you will prepare by making a black and white copy of the image and have it drawn on either a quarter or a half-sheet of 300 lb watercolor paper prior to class.
Class Description for May 2 - wait list only (To get on the wait list, email Wanda at [email protected]) This class will be about putting a deep dark background, making the glass sparkle by saving the whites and catching the glow in the red poppies. You will receive two images of this subject - one for the flowers and the second for the glass shapes.
